Went on shoot today with Miss Chelsea Williams, one of my old friends from high school. Very different model to what I have used before.

ook, taking elements and putting them into photos to then end up with final images for my image and text

ct. Was lil bit disheartened when I got home and hadn't taken have as many photos as I thought I had taken, but quality not quantity.

I think the photos have come out much better then I expected, thanks for the help of my Ab Fab partner "Patsy" aka James Hazlett Beard and his flash gun I got the effects that I wanted.

Looking at Tim Bret Day and his GHD photographs;

I wanted to take the lighting and try and remake that sort of lighting. Baring in mind it was bright sunshine and the middle of the day i think the photos have come out alot better then I expected. Think I might reshoot some of them though, now that I know how to work the lighting better.

Please god let me pass this term.

i love my friends. half 7 ring my BFF James Hazlett Beard "i wanna shoot tonight. get me a model. ryde seafront." and he pulled through, as he always dose. So 10pm get to see the lovely Keria with her new hair and a car full of clothes.

After a lil bit of playing around and trying to get into the swing of things I got some beautiful images. First island shoot of the holidays and its really got my fire burning again.

Verity Malcom. Model of the future.

Studio shoot went so much better then i could of ever hoped for. verity is a amazing model, my new fav person to use! as well as her being one of my best friends here we were able to balence the idea of being serious and having a laugh on shoot. i think for my first time in a studio i have done well for a "play around". i think the images are rather rankin-esk witch im not sure is what i was looking for and weather i would like such a bright image, however i rather like them. i want to play around with light more for my new project. cant wait to get back in there.

off to do a shoot with my beautiful house mate to be Verity Malcom. She has a wonderful style. Flaming red hair, big eyes and a figure to die for. Hope this goes well today. Think today will be an experimental stage and then maybe revisit the shoot further down the line. Want to get some interesting light done today for my project. Love the fact that im getting my teeth into it. Uni life is going well and so is life in flat M13. House for next year is almost sorted and its going to look amamzing in a shoot that i want to do. going to save that for next year tho :).

went on my first location shoot in Manchester today.

Tom came to me with this mental styling witch i just love! Gaga glass's, robot hats and diamond unicorns all the way on this shoot.

the photos that came out i think are really good, for the fact that we did this is probs just under an hour i think the result we got was rather professional.

loved the fact that when shooting saw someone from my course walk past that i had a "small debate" with about that digital and fashion photography had no passion, just at the point when i had my art directors head on, shouting at tom to pose and pose and pose.

i have a bad creative block atm, i think its due to a bit of stress and lonely-ness that i have atm. feel really trapped in my own head and i need a way of getting the images in my head out. defo need some people that are willing to model for me in Manchester, hense why i have sorted out my model mayhem for some models. not a fan of working with people that i'm not comfortable with, i get a bit tense.

would love to be able to get all my models from the iow up here and do a amazing shoot with the backdrop of Manchester and the friendly faces on my buddyies :)

Im in love with Sean Ellis. The different types of photos that he dose is just amazing. I really would like his new book "365 a year in fashion" along with a big bundle of equipment. Diana-F, some more polariods, expired film, flash kit, new camera and a studio would be a nice touch to that.

Just hope I can take the right path because im not sure what that is yet.

fed up of being here. i want to branch out and get to new places in the world. keep thinking that leaving uni would be the best idea and save myself hell of alot of debt and just get my name out there. i want to go to paris and live there.

just hope i can get some more work going and some money to be able to get some more equipment.

god i miss the isle of wight
